How do you price a local move?

We price local moves with an hourly crew rate plus a truck and supplies fee. Labor is $80 per hour per mover. The truck and supplies fee is $200 within 25 miles. We bill in 15-minute increments after a 2-hour minimum.

Do you require a deposit?

No. The deposit is $0. You get a free estimate first, then we schedule your crew once you are ready.

What is included with a local move?

Furniture blankets and shrink wrap, floor and door-frame protection when needed, dollies, straps, and professional equipment, furniture disassembly and reassembly, and clear communication before and during your move.

Where do you provide local moving?

We serve neighborhoods on both sides of the state line, including Kansas City, Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, Shawnee, Leawood, Prairie Village, Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, Liberty, Parkville, and Lawrence. Additional gas charges may apply beyond 25 miles.

Can you move pianos, safes, or exercise equipment?

Yes. Tell us about specialty items when you request an estimate so we can plan the right crew and equipment. We move pianos with specialized boards, straps, and lift-gate trucks, and we handle safes, treadmills, and other heavy exercise equipment with professional dollies and careful protection.

Will you disassemble and reassemble furniture?

Yes. Furniture disassembly and reassembly is included with a local move. We take beds, tables, and similar pieces apart as needed, protect the parts, and put them back together at your new home.

How many movers will I need?

It depends on your home size, inventory, stairs, and specialty items. After you share your date, addresses, and what you are moving, we recommend the crew size and expected time by phone, in-home consultation, or video so you are not guessing on moving day.
