Exercise Equipment Movers in Kansas City

Your workout equipment may be staying with you, but the basement stairs do not make it easy. Box N Haul helps plan exercise-equipment moves around Kansas City, Overland Park, and the metro, with attention to the machine and your home.

A moving plan for your actual equipment

We move treadmills and home gym equipment, but no two setups are quite the same. A folding treadmill, a long elliptical, and a rack with separate weights each need different preparation.

  • Treadmills: share the model, weight information, dimensions, and whether the deck folds or locks for transport.
  • Home gyms and racks: describe frames, benches, weight stacks, cables, and loose pieces that need moving.
  • Ellipticals and exercise bikes: send model details and photos so we can confirm suitability and clearance for your specific machine.

Include every piece you want moved, not just the largest machine. Tell us about existing damage or parts that no longer lock or fold as intended.

Protect frames, consoles, and your home

We discuss padding and wrapping around the equipment's exposed surfaces and vulnerable parts. Screens, handles, pedals, and loose attachments need attention before a bulky frame passes through a doorway.

  • Review the route for narrow doors, stair rails, low ceilings, and tight landings.
  • Discuss flooring protection and where equipment will be placed at the destination.
  • Confirm any disassembly, handling of loose parts, and reassembly in advance.

Have the manufacturer's instructions available if possible. Clear the work area and discuss disconnecting power and preparing accessories with us; do not start dismantling a machine without an agreed plan.

What affects your exercise equipment estimate?

  • Number of machines, model details, dimensions, and available weight information.
  • Basement or upstairs locations, stair count, turns, landings, and walkout access.
  • Whether a frame can clear the route assembled or needs to come apart.
  • Disassembly and reassembly requested, loose weights, and other components.
  • Parking, carrying distance, travel, and placement in the new space.

For a basement gym, photos looking along the whole route are particularly useful. Include stair turns and the door at the top or bottom—not only a close-up of the machine.

Moving and any agreed reassembly are separate from calibration, repairs, or manufacturer servicing. We do not promise those technical services as part of an equipment move.

Exercise Equipment Moving FAQs

Can you move treadmills and home gym equipment?

Yes. Treadmills and home gym equipment are part of our exercise-equipment moving work. Share your exact model and route so we can confirm the preparation and handling needed for your move.

What about an elliptical or exercise bike?

Include the make, model, dimensions, and photos in your request. Ellipticals can have long frames and projecting arms, while bike consoles can need extra care. We will confirm whether we can accommodate your particular machine before booking.

Can you get equipment out of a basement?

Basement moves need a route review. Tell us about stair width, turns, landings, ceiling height, and any walkout entrance. Send photos of both the equipment and the route; a machine that fits in the room may not fit through the exit assembled.

Is disassembly and reassembly included?

It depends on the equipment and the agreed scope. Tell us what needs to come apart, whether you have the manufacturer's instructions, and whether you need reassembly at the destination. Kyle will confirm what work is included before the move.

Will you calibrate or service the machine after moving it?

Equipment calibration, repairs, and manufacturer servicing are not listed as included moving services. Follow the manufacturer's guidance for setup and any checks before use, and arrange specialist service separately where needed.

Tell us the machines, models, addresses, and access involved. Kyle will follow up to discuss the route, any disassembly needs, and a clear estimate for the agreed moving work.
