Pool Table Movers in Kansas City

Getting a pool table to its next room starts with understanding how it is built. Talk with Box N Haul about your Kansas City or Overland Park move so the moving work and any table-setup needs are clear before scheduling.

Tell us what kind of table you have

Two tables with the same playing size can have very different moving needs. The surface material, frame, legs, and current assembly all matter.

  • Table size: include the listed playing size and the overall length, width, and height.
  • Slate or non-slate: share the construction and any manufacturer weight information.
  • Current condition: tell us whether it is assembled, partly dismantled, or already packed.

Not sure what is underneath the felt? Start with the brand, model, and photos you can take without lifting or taking apart the table. We will review the specific table before confirming the move.

Preparation without assumptions

We discuss how the table or its components will be protected, what needs to come apart, and how the route can be kept clear. Rails, legs, and any separate parts need an organized plan—not a last-minute decision at the stairs.

  • Review padding and wrapping for the components being moved.
  • Plan clearance around doors, walls, stair rails, and low ceilings.
  • Agree on who handles disassembly, packing of parts, and reassembly.

Confirm before booking: disassembly and reassembly are table-specific scope questions. Leveling and refelting are not advertised as included. Ask Kyle to spell out the agreed moving work and any separate setup arrangements.

What affects your pool table moving estimate?

A useful estimate accounts for more than the drive across the Kansas City metro. Include the full trip from the current game room to the intended location.

  • Table dimensions, weight information, and slate versus non-slate construction.
  • Assembly status and the disassembly or reassembly work requested.
  • Basement access, stair count, landing size, tight turns, and doorway widths.
  • Parking, distance to the truck, travel, and the final room's access.

Photos of the complete table, model label, and access at both addresses help us review the request. Remove cues, balls, and loose accessories from the work area, but discuss dismantling the table with us first.

Pool Table Moving FAQs

What size pool tables can I ask you about?

Send the table's listed size, overall outside dimensions, brand, and model if known. Each request is reviewed for construction and access; do not assume a table is accepted based on its listed playing size alone.

Why do you ask whether the table is slate or non-slate?

The playing surface affects the weight and preparation needed. Tell us whether the table is slate, another material, or unknown. If you have manufacturer information showing one-piece or multi-piece slate, share it when we follow up.

Are disassembly and reassembly included?

Those tasks need to be confirmed for your exact table before booking. Describe whether it is assembled or already in pieces, and ask Kyle to specify any agreed disassembly and reassembly in the estimate. Moving labor and transport do not automatically include table setup.

Do you include pool table leveling or refelting?

Leveling and refelting are not listed as included services. Confirm the scope with Kyle before scheduling and arrange any separate table-specialist work as needed. Do not assume the table will be ready to play immediately after transport.

Can you move a pool table out of a basement?

We need to review the table and basement route first. Send photos of stairs, turns, doorways, and any walkout access, along with dimensions. Construction and any required disassembly affect whether the route can be accommodated.

Start with the table. We'll talk through the details.

Tell us the table size, construction, current location, and destination. Kyle will follow up to review the route and clarify exactly what work your estimate covers.
